Doug is Director of Product Marketing responsible for IBM Business Analytics for Performance Management.

His team’s mission is to understand the challenges facing modern financial, operational, and sales performance management practices and the application of technology to drive breakthrough analytic results in performance, governance, risk, and compliance processes. With over twenty five years in accounting, corporate finance, and enterprise software he is responsible for sharing the depth and breadth of IBM Software solutions to solve problems and deliver results.

Doug is a graduate of the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Certified Public Account. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Wisconsin. He's held senior positions in accounting, finance and enterprise software at Cognos, Closedloop (now Lawson), Hyperion, Arbor Software, and Alcar (all now part of Oracle). He was a CPA with Price Waterhouse in Chicago.

Finally, Doug is also a husband, a father to two terrific daughters, and an Ironman-distance triathlete.
